The Metamarkets Shared Visibility Initiative and System Health Status Page

At Metamarkets, we are incredibly lucky to have passionate and devoted users. This means we have to uphold a high bar in terms of reliability and transparency. To that end, we are proud to roll out the Metamarkets Shared Visibility Initiative, a series of system upgrades and automated resources aimed at providing more insight into the health and processing status of our system.

We are excited to announce the first release of this initiative, the System Health Status Page. With this page, customers, users, and administrators can now see the current and recent health of both the Metamarkets Dashboard and our Real-Time Data Ingestion pipeline.

Key benefits of this resource:

  • It’s completely public and accessible to anyone. This makes it easier to share with colleagues and partners.
  • Automated tests and control mechanisms provide status updates 24/7/365, meaning you don’t need to reach out to an Account Manager or Administrator to get the latest information.
  • The status page, together with the tests that power it, are independent from our service itself so they are available even if the Metamarkets system is having an issue.
  • Visitors to this page can subscribe to receive automated updates on incident statuses and can be notified when things are back to normal. (Note: this feature is only available while an incident is occurring.)

While the System Health Status Page reports on overall system status, we also want to give our customers more detailed and specific information on the status of their individual service. To do this, we will soon be releasing a private Health and Processing Report for each of our customers. This page will have more granular status and helpful metrics associated with ingestion and data processing for your company. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
