Metamarkets is a real-time analytics platform for the digital advertising space. We give exchanges, SSPs, DSPs and ad networks the ability to visualize programmatic trends & opportunities as they happen and the freedom to focus on building deeper client relationships instead of software.

Dr. Deborah Rieman, Executive Chair

Dr. Deborah Rieman has served for over 30 years in the computer software, networking, and communications industries. Previously, she served as president and CEO of Check Point Software Technologies Incorporated, and held various executive and management positions at Adobe Systems, Sun Microsystems, Xerox Corp., and MITRE Corp. She began her career as Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Deborah also serves on the boards of directors of Corning, Inc. and SmartPak, Inc., and has served on several other boards in the technology industry. She was named as one of Time Magazine’s “50 Cyber-Elite”, Working Woman magazine’s “Top Ten Women in Technology”, and one of the “Top 25 Women on the Web” by SF WoW. Most recently, Deborah was recognized as an outstanding business leader and was named a Junior Achievement Laureate by the Junior Achievement’s Business Hall of Fame.

Mike Driscoll founded Metamarkets in 2010 after spending more than a decade developing data analytics solutions for online retail, life sciences, digital media, insurance, and banking. Prior to Metamarkets, Mike successfully founded and sold two companies: Dataspora, a life science analytics company, and CustomInk, an early pioneer in customized apparel. He began his career as a software engineer for the Human Genome Project. Mike holds an A.B. in Government from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Boston University.

As Metamarkets’ CRO, Jacob Ross is responsible for creating and executing the company’s revenue strategy. He joins Metamarkets from Criteo, where as Managing Director, North America, he grew the company’s US offices to a team of more than one hundred people serving 400 top retail and travel advertisers. Previously, he served as VP of Advertising Platforms at Demand Media, overseeing operations and monetization for the company’s 60+ properties. Before that, Jacob was Director of Business Development for The Right Media Exchange, a Yahoo! Company, where he led strategic partnerships with agencies, advertisers and major publishers. He graduated with honors from Reed College with a BA Russian Literature and History.

Harris Bernstein is responsible for leading Metamarkets' sales organization and helping the company scale its client base of leading marketing technology companies. Previously, as Exponential Interactive’s US VP of Sales & Account Management, Harris led a 40 person team operating across the company’s cross-platform brands: Tribal Fusion, Firefly Video, Appsnack, and Adotube. Before that, he served as Regional Sales Director for AOL Media where he oversaw sales efforts across the company’s Platform-A solutions. Harris was also VP of Sales for Q-Interactive and ValueClick Media, respectively. He holds a BA from Indiana University.

Ron Claypool brings to Metamarkets more than 20 years of sales leadership with an emphasis in digital media and operations. Having specialized in sales for both search and display channels, he is well versed in auction-based marketplaces and real-time bidding for digital display. Over the last decade, Ron has held senior leadership positions at several high-tech companies including Vantage Media and Microsoft. Most recently, Ron was Vice President of Demand Management at the Rubicon Project. Ron received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Bradley University and his Master’s degree from Illinois State University.

Steven Harris, VP of Engineering

Steven Harris heads up the engineering organization at Metamarkets. He brings a wealth of experience with over 18 years in the technical field with an emphasis on designing, building and tuning high performance infrastructure software. Prior to joining Metamarkets, Steve was the VP of Engineering at Terracotta where he designed and developed the first versions of the core clustering product and then built and ran the engineering organization. Steve was instrumental in developing Terracotta’s technologies from the ground up. He started his career at Terracotta as the Senior Engineer of the Terracotta platform and quickly progressed from there to lead the Engineering organization. He was awarded a patent for DSO and has one pending for BigMemory. Prior to Terracotta, Steve worked at Kenamea, Keyspan Energy, and TIAA-CREF.

David Hertog joins Metamarkets from Google, where he led product marketing for DoubleClick Ad Exchange and DFP. Before that, he ran marketing at Admeld from the company’s early days through its acquisition by Google in December 2011. David also served as Marketing Director at social media platform KickApps, and as Online Business Development Manager at The New Republic magazine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden school.

Marcus Lo joins Metamarkets with more than 15 years of experience guiding business and investment strategies at a variety of established and high-growth companies. Prior to Metamarkets, Marcus was Vice President of Finance at Walmart.com and a Director of Merchandise Finance & Company Planning at the Banana Republic brand at Gap, Inc. He began his career in investment banking with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin where he provided financial advisory and corporate valuation services for many Bay Area technology and internet companies. Marcus holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.

Anup Yanamandra, VP of Product

Anup Yanamandra leads Metamarkets' product organization. Before he joined the company, Anup served as Senior Director of Product Management at SuccessFactors where he was responsible for the roadmap and direction of two major product areas. Previously, Anup was Lead Product Manager for IBM's Entity Analytics Solutions and Master Data Management Server, respectively. He began his tenure at IBM as a Senior Product Manager for IBM's Websphere Product Center. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Warangal, India.
