Bruce Armstrong, Operating Partner at Khosla Ventures

Bruce Armstrong is an operating partner at Khosla Ventures, where he focuses on big data and cloud infrastructure, leveraging his more than 25 years of experience developing, marketing, selling and investing in enterprise technology companies. Prior to Khosla Ventures, Bruce was the president and CEO of PivotLink (acquired by SmartFocus). He served as CEO of several public and private companies including Kickfire (acquired by Teradata) and KNOVA Software. Earlier in his career, Bruce held various executive and management positions at Broadbase Software, Sybase, Teradata Corporation (acquired by AT&T/NCR) and AT&T. Bruce has served on the boards of a variety of technology companies including Accruent, Big Switch Networks, BuyMedia, Citadon, Evolving Systems, GitLab and Mesosphere. He also served on several advisory boards. Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley. He is also a trustee on the board of The Bay School of San Francisco.
