Jim Payne, Chairman

Jim is the Founder and former CEO of MoPub. He started MoPub in 2010 to provide better ad monetization and control tools for mobile publishers. Under his leadership, MoPub grew to a $100MM revenue run rate and introduced the first and largest RTB exchange for mobile advertising. Less than three years later, MoPub was sold to Twitter. Post acquisition, Payne served as Twitter’s Vice President, Exchange, where he successfully integrated the MoPub unit into Twitter’s broader revenue team. Before MoPub, Payne served on the product team at AdMob, acquired by Google in 2010. Previously, he was on the product team at Google, where he managed Google Maps advertising products. He is a software engineer by trade with a BS in Computer Science from MIT.
