Jim Payne, MoPub Founder and CEO, Joins Metamarkets’ Board

Today, we’re excited to announce that Jim Payne, Founder and former CEO of MoPub, has joined Metamarkets’ Board of Directors. An early adopter and advocate of our platform, Jim brings a decade of experience building successful advertising companies and products.
Jim founded MoPub in 2010 to provide better ad monetization and control tools for mobile publishers. Under his leadership, the company grew to a $100MM revenue run rate and introduced the first and largest RTB exchange for mobile advertising. In 2013, less than three years after its founding, MoPub was sold to Twitter. Post acquisition, Jim served as Twitter’s Vice President, Exchange, where he successfully integrated the MoPub unit into Twitter’s broader revenue team.
We are thrilled to welcome Jim as part of the Metamarkets family and we look forward to his expertise and guidance as we continue to grow!
